Larry Dittman

Larry Dittman

Larry started piper-boarding (today referred to as a skim-boarding) at Ocean Shores, WA in 1964 which inspired him to begin surfing at Point Grenville, WA in 1966.  He enjoyed learning to surf with friends, the music of the times and the car culture.  After retiring from a career in healthcare risk management Larry felt driven to document the history of surfing in Washington State, specifically the Point Grenville/Westport area in Grays Harbor. The result is a lifestyle documentary film looking at the surfing, the people, the music and the cars of “our” times...so that it is not lost forever!!
